Jerferälven
Jerferälven is an early-stage project in Arvidsjaur focusing on zirconium, yttrium, uranium and rare earth elements. The project is based on documented Zr-Y-U-bearing boulder material, including historically reported boulders with very high grades of yttrium, zirconium and uranium.
Project focus
Follow-up of previously identified boulders
Searching for the origin of boulders with high levels of yttrium, zirconium and uranium.Source tracing through fieldwork and geochemistry
Testing whether the boulder finds can be linked to mineralisation in the bedrock.
Jerferälven is an early but concrete project in Arvidsjaur focusing on zirconium, yttrium, uranium and rare earth elements. The project is based on historically documented Zr-Y-U-bearing boulder material, where a specific boulder has been reported with very high grades of yttrium, zirconium and uranium.
Crustal's work is focused on following up on the boulder material and testing whether the historical observations can be narrowed down to clearer target areas. Through boulder hunting, radiometric mapping, pXRF, gamma spectrometer and geochemical sampling, the company can step-by-step strengthen the basis for continued exploration.
